Meet THE Thomas Trio
About
The Thomas Trio began in 2021 when Dylan Thomas brought his viola into a local nursing home after Sunday Mass. What began as a single performance grew into a student-led outreach initiative involving Dylan, his siblings, and young musicians from across the region.
Today, The Thomas Trio has performed more than 90 times across seven states and Ireland, bringing live music to nursing homes, senior communities, and hospice centers. Along the way, we have learned that our performances are about more than music. We stay afterward to listen, share stories, and build connections between generations.
We invite student musicians to volunteer alongside us because we believe the impact grows when more young people have the opportunity to serve.
The Thomas Trio partners with AARP's Create the Good program and local senior and hospice communities to expand opportunities for young musicians to bring live music and companionship to older adults.
